Central to our audit approach is clear communication as to audit requirements and discussion on any issues that arise as they are identified. This ensures a ‘No Surprises’ approach and the timely resolution of reporting matters.
We will also ensure that we advise you of developments in accounting and audit standards at the earliest opportunity, in order that their impact on your business can be assessed and discussed.
Our audits must also adhere to all professional standards issued by the Auditing Standards Board, the Financial Reporting Council and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Our audit approach is different for every client. In particular we:
- Tailor how we communicate with clients to meet their specific needs and information requirements;
- Work closely with clients to ensure an efficient assignment; and
- Work with our clients to ensure that they gain maximum added value from the audit compliance requirement.
We offer the following external audits:
We offer statutory audits to all entities, all sizes of private company, Limited Liability Partnerships and charities of a certain size and criteria which are required by law to have their financial statements audited.
A non-statutory audit is an audit that is not required by law and will be offered to sole traders, partnerships, small companies, clubs and certain charities.
Special purpose audit
In certain circumstances, we also offer special purpose audits for specific reporting or contractual agreements.
