A Vice Chairman of the Board of a listed entity in Turkey Mahmud is a member of its Corporate Governance Committee and had chaired the Audit & Risk Management Committees.

He provides for the Dubai Real Estate Institute training and consultancy to Owners Associations & Community Managers. Mahmud leads the audit teams providing Service Charge Audits, Efficiency reviews, General Fund & Reserve Fund reviews, Audit of cash flow statements, Service Charge Model reviews, Budget reviews & Consultation to RERA on scope of audit for Owners Associations.

Mahmud Merali’s Qualifications – Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW), Certified Public Accountant (Kenya), Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) & an Associate member of the Institute of Taxation (ATII-UK).
