Madhav joined Merali’s UK office as Assurance and Risk consultant in 2004. Madhav is also the Managing Partner for Baker Tilly in Kenya with over 20 years’ experience. He has been involved in Public Sector and Larger Statutory Audits, Government Contract Claims Verification, and Due Diligence, various forms of External and internal Audit, Capacity Building and Staff Supervision. He has been involved in various assessments funded by Government agencies, Development Partners such as World Bank, SIDA, DANIDA, EU and UN agencies. He is a qualified accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) with an MBA from Manchester Business School, and excellent skills in audit methodology and techniques that maintain the highest audit quality standards. Madhav is an accredited trainer for the ICPAK CPA Kenya office and performs various trainings for its members. He is an expert and advisor to numerous donors in Kenya and Somalia.

Madhav is a keen sportsman and an ardent supporter of the Liverpool Football Club, and enjoys
playing squash, going to the gym with his better half and doting over their two young sons.
